๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป What happens when you join an online hackathon from your dorm room with just your laptop, ideas, and determination? Wellโ€ฆ you donโ€™t just log in โ€” you level up. I recently had the opportunity to represent Galgotias University, Greater Noida as part of Team Mark Z. in an online hackathon hosted by IIMT College of Engineering. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ก We didnโ€™t make it to the offline round, but what we gained was far more than a spot in the finals. โšก From brainstorming under pressure โšก To learning to work as a team virtually โšก To navigating real-world problems with code and creativity This experience reminded me: โœ… Growth > Outcome โœ… Collaboration beats competition โœ… And yesโ€ฆ a certificate still feels pretty great! (Check it out below ๐Ÿ‘‡) Huge shoutout to IIMT College of Engineering and all the organizers for making this possible and supporting budding developers across the country. ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ“Now Iโ€™m curious โ€” Whatโ€™s one lesson you learned from your last online event or competition? #HackathonExperience #OnlineHackathon #TechForGood #InnovationInAction #StudentDevelopers #LearningByDoing #TeamMarkZ #GalgotiasUniversity #IIMTCollegeOfEngineering #BuildInPublic

Most of us buy the same items again and again, yet the search journey often slows us down. Typing, scrolling, navigating, and facing out of stock dead ends create friction that breaks momentum. For this concept case study, I explored how Zepto could simplify early steps and turn repeat purchasing into a smooth, habit-forming flow. A simple lift, drag, and drop interaction that lets users add or increase quantity without losing rhythm. This reduced time per item and improved repeat purchase velocity. ๐Ÿฎ. ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—”๐˜‚๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ Search predicts what users may need based on time of day. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner. This helped users reach their first item faster. ๐Ÿฏ. ๐—ฆ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ฆ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฝ Unavailable items auto replace with relevant alternatives based on user habits. This kept users in the journey and lowered drop offs while improving trust in recommendations. The goal was clear. Reduce early effort, keep users moving, and create a faster, more intuitive way to reorder essentials.
